Kristina is an advocate for local business communities and the residents they serve. She can be found at most mixers amplifying the message that a strong, vibrant, and resilient community is what matters.
Kristina has over 25 years experience as an independent retailer with enhanced
community building and engagement skills. She was the owner of two successful local
independent retail stores. Both locations were vibrant and integral in maintaining the mix of
local businesses as well as ensuring that as many dollars as possible stayed within their
economic districts. She has sat on numerous boards including but not limited to RetailBC,
Commercial Drive BIA, Deep Cove Merchants Association and LOCO. She is a level 3
facilitator with experience as a moderator and consultant. Kristina spoke at Retail Council of
Canada's RCCStore conference to discuss how to increase street front retail in
communities with higher than average vacancy rates or those that are interested in
creating a unique mix of Arts, Culture and Commerce.
